dmxratedGot an extension cord from the garage yesterday, after Mom told me to unlock that and bring the portable air compresser out at some point (forgot all about that), and tried to hook our stereo up to play The Slant, after all the love songs et al I had to listen to at Walmart. Mom sent me out to retrieve a power strip from the boathouse before actually running the system, before she went out to The Home Depot.
At some point, it dawned on me that the car might be an even better place to listen to it, when we drive down to Virginia.
(I gotta say, it was nice to pick up such songs at Walmart as Owner of a Lonely Heart, Soul Meets Body, Hicktown, and Walk the Dinosaur, that do not deal with love, hate, sex, or dance. If only they'd have played Around the World or Who Let the Dogs Out? at any point (at least when I was actually at the store).)

Got around to watching this year's Mother Direct last night at 6, and invited Mom for the first time to see that. (In previous years, it was just something I would watch on my computer, or on the apartment TV when I was living up there.)
