Dec. 30th, 2025 04:50 amHad an interview yesterday at 2 at a clinic in Centerreach, and had a bus take me to Smithhaven Mall beforehand where Mom could pick me up for that.
Had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory upon arriving. What I got was filling enough to cover even for dinner and dessert, and peanut butter cup fudge is not a hot flavor for cheesecake.
This is also probably going to be my last visit to f.y.e. Only one row of shelves for DVDs now, and no dedicated section anymore for anime; they're now mingled with everything else. Looks like one of the next stores that will be phasing DVDs out.
And, all I got the chance to do in Barnes & Noble was use the restroom, before Mom called to let me know she was just outside.
-
Following my interview, we also had to stop at the bank and the post office. I had a fifty from Uncle Robby, and three checks worth a combined $170, to deposit in one shot, and then along with those adapters, Mom also had a letter to Grandma Ella to mail out.
-----
Woke up to an email as I fired my laptop up this morning, that someone has bought my one volume of Kill la Kill.
-----
While viewing that Family Guy clip this morning to verify yesterday's entry, it turns out the lady in question actually joins from the right edge during the opening shot.
