dmxratedThroughout yesterday since the previous afternoon, I tried to upload a revision of my main video, first, to Google Drive, and then, to YouTube (set to Private), in order to let Chris spruce it up somewhat before I post it to odysee. My first attempt to GD failed yesterday morning, a quarter of its way through, and after two more attempts, one aborted after a few minutes and another whose estimated upload time multiplied, that's when I took to YouTube.
I have found that progress, at least on YouTube (will have to test later with GD) tends to stagnate when the computer itself has a chance to enter sleep mode. Last night, it only took minutes to finish all the way from the 40s range.
Obviously, for future uploads, I'm going to have to remain at my computer and find stuff to do online until it actually finishes.

Brian helped Mom put an apple pie together yesterday mid-morning, before going out to see this movie called Hamnet.

At some point, I saw the stove in the apartment on, assumed Brian had somehow left it on, and turned it off. Also opened some windows to air the apartment out of some smell I couldn't identify.
Mom found out later, pointed out that that's where she was preparing some corned beef for dinner, and told me to let her know from now on whenever I do something like that.
