dmxratedMom and I went to the beach for a walk yesterday afternoon, but it was extremely windy, and we had to cut it relatively short.
Just before we came into the parking lot, though, we spotted some seagulls bathing in a large puddle, and a male deer for the first time (to date, we've only ever seen female deer, who don't have antlers).

She had made plans before we left the house, to stop at Dick's Sporting Goods to buy me a new jacket. We didn't find any suitable for me, but we did manage to buy me a new pair of sneakers while we were there.
And then, Costco, where I decided to get a hot dog and a caramel brownie sundae for dinner.

My phone has failed to power on this morning.
For the time being, Mom let me use her phone to snap today's Far Side comic for our Signal group Uguu Blue: Lemonade Crew, and gave me her ipad to load my Kindle account on for when we fly to California in a few days.
