dmxratedYesterday, I put the free hours I had before my driving class to good use, by challenging the Elite Four in Pokemon Sapphire. It was a lot easier than one would think. In fact, Geodude never even had to fight, though he was put on the line once to let Registeel recover his stats after using Superpower. (And thanks to that one turn he spent in front, he completed level 40 and learned Explosion, so I finally let him evolve into Graveler.) Also, the time I chose to use the only Max Revive in the game could not have been better; I used it on Kyogre while battling Steven, switched to Kyogre (causing him some damage from Spikes), and it took even more damage from Skarmory's Steel Wing, and that all left it with 40 HP remaining.
After I got home from school, I took on the Sky Pillar and captured Rayquaza. I had to reset the game several times, but in the end, I had only consumed one Ultra Ball. The same is true with both Regirock and Registeel: capturing both those Pokemon was a time-consuming task which required me to reset the game multiple times, but on the successful try, I only used up one Ultra Ball.
Putting that aside, I finally got around to talking to Jake for the first time in days. He posted his Ash/Latias fanfic (which he titled Midnight Festival) onto AdultFanFiction.net, under the pen name Random Phantom. This is the first fanfic he posted onto AFF.net; most of his fanfiction is available on Seribii.net and/or on the Fanfiction Forum.

Also, I got an email from a bot at Fanfiction.net saying that Rave the Rich put one of my stories (Rockna and a Hard Place) on his Favorite Stories lists. I'm glad that the people who run FF.net finally invented that; now if only I could find out who put my stories onto their favorites list prior to this new feature.
