A (very) brief history of Pokemon Red

dmxratedOkay, first off, I'm not going to keep track of where Caterpie, Weedle, Magikarp, Abra, or Beldum evolve when I write histories of the Pokemon games I've played. Those five Pokemon need to evolve anyway in order to learn any natural moves. For other Pokemon, I decide when they evolve by rolling dice each time they level up and hoping I get two 5s in a row. (6, 7, and 8 don't count; if I roll a 5 and a 6, I just roll one die one more time and see what comes up.) If said Pokemon has learned all their worthwhile natural moves, then they will evolve immediately anyway.
Anyway, on with the show:
Game: Red
Player: Ash
Unfortunately, I don't remember where or when Bulbasaur, Pidgey, Rattata, female Nidoran, or Diglett evolved. I only know that they did evolve after having checked my Pokedex. I wish I kept better track of such events, but I do remember certain milestones and milestone notes for the following ones:
Bulbasaur: Like I said, I don't remember where this one evolved into Ivysaur, he does get credit for participating in the Elite Four battles.
Beedrill: Learned TM 03 (Swords Dance), which replaced Focus Energy without hesitation. He was right there when I found the TM in the Silph Company, and any move that raises Attack power overrides Focus Energy any day.
Jigglypuff: Was chosen to evolve (in her case, evolves with a Moon Stone) in Fuschia City, when I only needed a few more Pokemon to obtain the Exp All.
Zubat: Chosen to evolve by fighting wild Pokemon on Route 18, when I only needed a few more Pokemon to obtain the Exp All.
Oddish: Learned TM 20 (Rage) when I picked it up on Route 15. (Gee, why didn't I sell this instead of teaching it to a Pokemon? It's a pathetic move, and even Tackle is better.)
Eevee: Evolved into Flareon with a Fire Stone when I only needed a few more Pokemon to obtain the Exp All. Under any circumstances, there is no excuse not to evolve an Eevee (unless you're hoping he becomes Espeon or Umbreon, neither of which are in this game).
Gastly: Participated in the Elite Four battles, and evolved into Haunter right after learning Night Shade, which was also right before I battled Gary.
Moltres: Was supposed to learn some TM after being captured, but it was too late into the game for that to even matter.
As for whoever else learned some TM or HM, I never kept good track of it, and it would be a pain in the ass to go through every single Pokemon in Bill's PC.
