Jul. 17th, 2007 06:28 amI got my player's guide yesterday, and it turns out that the game features all Pokemon from generations I and II, but none from gen III. I then looked up some walkthroughs for Pokemon Emerald (particularly the Battle Frontier), and it turns out that even at the Frontier, there are very, very few Gen I or II Pokemon to catch. I guess that means I'm not missing much after all by playing Sapphire instead of Emerald, but it's ironic because I noticed that one of the trainers has Raikou in their team, which is one of the many Pokemon still not available in Emerald.
Anyway, I'm planning to have Pokemon Diamond or Pearl for Christmas in five months. As for buying Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen, I already made the decision that it can wait until the end of this semester, which is only three weeks away. I've already occupied myself with Grandia III since two nights ago anyway, so continuing where I am with that game until the end should take some amount of time. I don't know exactly how long, but I obviously wouldn't expect to beat it tomorrow.
