Jul. 27th, 2007 07:17 amThe other day, while I was riding the bus home, I noticed a Taco Bell where the message read:

During yesterday's driving session, we drove past that same TB restaurant, and it turned out that the C was missing for "closers". Of course, fast food jobs really are for losers. I mean, they're good to have if you're a teen who's never had a job yet, but if you worked at a fast food place your whole life, then...
Anyway, later during the same driving session, we were driving around Patchogue, and I offered to drive everyone else to see Dad's catboat if they were interested. They agreed to it, though I had to find my way around Patchogue to know where I was. It turned out that the docks were closed, and since Elke was against the idea of crossing someone's backyard (which is what me and my family usually do anyway to get to the boat), I was unable to show anyone the boat. No big deal, we just kept driving until my 20 minutes were up.
Later on, I forgot whether I'm supposed to attend the classroom session of the driving course at 11:30 or 12:30, and ended up going there at the latter time. At first, I thought I was on time because my watch said 12:27, but after five more minutes, I realized how late I was. Mr. Kramer asked me what happened, and we came to an agreement that I would take the daily quiz at home and turn it in when I come back on Tuesday. I did tell him that I still have another half hour before I need to get on my bus, but he told me that after my class, he leaves. Well, the quiz was still a pretty good way to fill up that half hour.
