Yesterday's was a parody of The Simpsons, called The Wimpsons. The family is sitting on their couch worrying about governmental issues, and every one of them has a donkey snout, to represent the Democratic political party. Each of the characters say as follows:

Marge (reading a newspaper titled "Iraq"): If we only had the courage to stop Bush's war!..
Lisa: Our Capitol Hill slumber party was a bust!..
Bart: If we keep acting so lame, we're TOAST!
Homer: Mmm... Toast!..
Maggie continues to suck on her pacifier.

Meanwhile, next to Marge on the left end of the couch, is a stand with a telephone, a lamp, and a picture that reads "The Dems." And behind that stand is a window, from where one can see the White House and whatever that obelisk is called. (If no one minds, please tell me what it is.)

Matt Groening would've loved to see the Simpson family represented as Democrats. He's known for bashing their opponents, whom we refer to as Republicans. In Bart Simpson's Guide to Life, "Republican" fell under the list of "25 Things Not to Be When You Grow Up," and there are even more instances of Republican-bashing throughout the Life in Hell series, which he also wrote.
