Sep. 9th, 2007 07:48 amYesterday, Brian came home, and also brought Blaine with him. Scott was already here visiting, and he and Marie decided to bake brownies in anticipation to Brian's arrival. I had a few several hours after they were done, but they were still soft. Marie, Scott, Brian, and Blaine all had a few after I finished mine. About half an hour later, Mom asked me if I wanted to come out onto the catboat with everyone else. I decided to come, since it's not very often that we have more than one friend visiting us and coming sailing with us.
On the way to the boatyard, Mom had to stop at Dad's workshop. Before we left the shop, Brian, Marie, Scott, and Blaine were doing something which involved moving our hands up and down while making a lobster-claw-like motion with our fingers. I decided to join the game, and Mom showed Dad what we were doing.
The air was a bit windy while we were out sailing. In fact, we didn't need any boats to pass us in order to have 2-foot-high waves rocking our own boat. Needless to say, all our clothes got rather damp while the five of us were sitting on one side of the boat.
On our way home, I suggested that we watch an episode of The Muppet Show, but Mom said that she might've given that DVD to Brian to take upstate and wasn't sure if he brought it back home. Even when we were home, everyone was too busy doing something both before and after dinner, so I decided not to bother. Either Brian or Marie was supposedly going to take their friend see this movie called Superbad, but I myself didn't notice them leave.
Anyway, Marie's sleeping on the futon right now. I'm not sure whether it's Scott or Blaine who decided to sleep over at our house last night, though.

I've decided to play Dark Cloud since two days ago. Only real difference from last time I played is that this time, I've decided to play the fishing game. This time around, I've actually learned how to catch fish. After I'm done with this game (i.e. beaten the Dark Genie; exploring the Demon Shaft sucks), I'm going to play Dark Cloud 2, after having read some in-depth walkthroughs on that game. If Dark Cloud 3 is ever made, I'll be glad to buy that game.
One thing I like in particular about the Dark Cloud series is the use of birthstones. In this game series, they're the best kinds of weapon attachments you can get, but you have to either buy them (for 3000 gilda each), trade in 100 fishing points for them, or get them from the backroom on any floor in any dungeon. These things increase at least three stats by ten points each, whereas normal attachments only increase one stat by usually three points. This, in turn, helps you evolve your weapons earlier into better ones.
