Sep. 22nd, 2007 06:44 amYesterday was my first day working at the Dowling University library. The bus came at fifteen minutes before 8:00 a.m., but took an hour to get to the campus. It had to pick up two (or three) other passengers. The first one was a Hispanic girl named Donna, and she had to bring her baby daughter (who she said was named Anabella). The other one was a 22-year-old boy named Kevin. I didn't converse with either of them much, but they sure had a nice chat each with the busdriver.
My job is to check books in and out for anyone who wants to borrow them. However, no one came to the desk to borrow or return anything, so I spent most of my shift reading pages from Women of the Praia and from my Psychology textbook.
