dmxratedMom, Dad, and Marie went out for a boat ride yesterday. I stayed home to do my homework, and Brian called shortly after they all left. Mom then called only a minute after Brian hung up, and asked if anyone called. I told her so.
I started a thread in the VGMusic forum yesterday, about the supposed censorship of anime in the United States. Remember when I told you about having downloaded Mahou Poipoi Poitto and other Japan-only games years ago? Well, that game was only one within a list of Super NES anime games that I made at that time before downloading any of them. According to BillyBandit, anime during the 16-bit era wasn't all that popular yet, and to try to import them would've cost more money that it could possibly yield.
Unfortunately, that topic got locked only last night, because of my link to ROMNation. Looking back on how the thread itself turned out, that wouldn't really have mattered because those who did participate in the thread hardly said anything about any of the games listed/described (except for Columns, which they said could only have been a hack), plus they even started making fun of me for saying "Let's stay on topic, shall we all?" In other words, the thread was already on its way to becoming crap, and besides which, my question was already answered. I did find the nickname "McKnugget" (BillyBandit's reference to my username "McKnight") rather funny, though, and Mom and Marie wondered what I was laughing at. I later on showed Marie the thread (which was when I discovered it being locked), and whereas I perceived that name as lighthearted teasing, she perceived it as derogatory. (The entire sentence was "Let's not try to undermine me with patronising backpeddaling, shall we McKnugget?")
