Dec. 20th, 2007 05:51 amMom drove Grandma Ella to the airport yesterday.
Later on, I had an appointment with Dr. Perret, and Mom gave him a bottle of wine for Christmas. I signed the tag, and according to Mom, Grandpa Bob helped her pick this one out. As for what I spoke to him about, the most noteworthy subject by far had been the topic of copyrighting, which I brought up at dinner two nights ago and spoke further about the next day.
After we left Dr. Perret's office, Mom drove to Target to pick up a VCR. She happened to get a 2-in-1 VCR-and-DVD-player. While we were driving home, Mom called Dad to ask whether it should be a Christmas gift or just be opened upon getting home. Then, we spoke about what we were going to do with my all-region DVD player. At first, she suggested storing it in my closet, but I suggested we just leave it where it is, since we were originally able to have both that thing and the original VCR plugged in at the same time. She said she'd rather not do that, and in fact, if I wanted to watch one of my Mon Colle Knights DVDs, there is a port on either the front of the TV or the new VCR that would allow me to hook up mine. I then went along with her.
I took a picture of five of my games to use on Ebay, and since Marie knows best how to use the cameras in this house, I asked her to get around to uploading it onto our computer. Me, Mom, and Marie were watching TV, and she asked me to make her a milkshake before she does it, but Mom told her that she didn't even have anything for dinner yet. Even further, we do lots of stuff for her anyway, plus Mom asked her to make a burrito, but she never did and Mom had to make her own dinner upon coming home from the library.
While I was sleeping, I overheard Mom talking with Grandma on the phone. According to the conversation, Grandma lost her luggage in the airport, but authorities will find it eventually.
