I so desperately want to play Pokemon LeafGreen. So why don't I? Because Pokemon games are overaddicting. I know that once I start playing the game, I'm most likely hardly going to get anything done over my month off while I still have the opportunity to get them done. I remember last year, after the grueling task of writing the details for Jamie's fic, I started playing Emerald (which I got for Christmas that year) to unwind, and the aforementioned details ended up being the only thing I got done that winter. So far this year, all I managed to do was put the five games up on Ebay and write some of the important details for Monster Collection Chronicles (and I still have yet to write the terminology and maybe create a timeline; descriptions for the Supporting Knights can come whenever I'm ready to go over those). Most importantly, I still have yet to create copies of each episode of Mon Colle Knights onto the computer, which I'll need help from Brian when I get around to it.

Jake linked me to this author (Magus523) who writes novelizations for certain games, particularly Mega Man games. He says he wants my opinion on the Mega Man fics, and I started reading Mega Man 3: Return of the Forsaken. So far, I find it very inspiring. It's been several months since I've read any fanfiction, and it feels good to be reading some again even though I've never played any Mega Man games (except for one on the SNES, which I didn't play in depth).

Last night, all of us except Dad played some games of ginasta while I was reading the fic. The first game was a practice game to get us reoriented with how the game is played. I then continued playing two real games with everyone else, before deciding I had enough.

Me and Marie also put the tinsel on the tree, but Brian pretty much declined on doing so. The two of us got just about every spot of the tree covered with just one tinsel box each.

We all then had these really good mint chocolate candies called After Eight. I ate one directly from the box, before taking four more to the dining room table with a glass of milk. They're these small, thin chocolate squares with this gooey mint stuff inside, and they're even better than York's Peppermint Patties (which have solid mint inside them). I even had four more this morning while me, Aunt Marie, and Mom were the only ones awake.

After we were done having After Eights, all of us except for my sister Marie watched this movie called Taladega Nights. I only watched the first ten minutes of the movie before going to bed, but it was really funny. Me, Mom, and Dad did watch it recently as well, but the part I watched previously wasn't quite so funny.
