Yesterday, all of us except Dad went out bowling, and we played two games. After the first game, Grandma Barbara asked if any of us want hot chocolate. Brian, Marie, and Aunt Marie accepted some, but me and Mom declined. All that stuff does is burn your tongue, and it doesn't actually have any taste to it. During our second game, the disco lights came on, and these three screens came down, displaying music videos. We left after that game, because Grandma said she doesn't like those lights.

We got home and had grilled cheeses and quesadillas for lunch. Meanwhile, Dad was at his workshop, so after we were done eating, Mom took me, Grandma, and Aunt Marie to visit him. Brian was busy doing something on his computer, and Marie had Scott coming over, so they declined on coming.

I paced around on the driveway while the adults were talking, but Dad's friend Bill came over while we were there, and he introduced him to Grandma and Aunt Marie. We then went to the boatyard, and had a brief sail on Patchogue River. Next stop: some house that was under construction. We had a tour of that house; nothing noteworthy there. Finally, Dad drove us around Patchogue so we could look at houses, and then we drove home.

Later on, we exchanged presents with Grandma and Aunt Marie. I got a sweatshirt, some M&M's toy, and some Mastercard gift cards. I ordered something (for the first time, not on Ebay or Amazon.com), and upon being shipped, the company said that it would arrive between the 21st and the 23rd. Unfortunately, the 23rd (which is today) is a Sunday, and the two of them are leaving this morning, so we're going to have to have the item reshipped to Virginia after it arrives here. (Previously, Mom suggested making a card with a picture of what the gift was going to be, but I later decided against that, opting instead to keep it a surprise.)

Also, the rest of those After Eights turned out to have melted from being in the same room as the fireplace. Mom had a second box under the tree, and we decided to open that one. I eventually put it in the pantry shelf where we keep the bread and cookies, so that it would be kept at room temperature.

I tried to get Brian to help me copy the content of my Mon Colle Knights DVDs onto his computer, but he was unable to figure it out himself. Our home computer doesn't have a DVD drive, but according to someone I've been speaking to, we can get around that with a video card (most likely, S-Video, assuming it reads all-region), and we also need to install Yasa DVD to Avi Converter. This initial attempt at copying MCK onto the computer might have failed, but one way or another, I will eventually make copies of the DVDs for everyone to view (especially for those who don't have an all-region DVD player or aren't even able to buy the DVDs).
