Yesterday was one of the few days during which I haven't spent a minute playing video games. Also, upon reading yesterday's entry, Mom told me that Brian wasn't camping; he was on some trip with his friends in Boston.

Mom drove us yesterday, first to GameStop, and then to the library. Mom told Marie to come into GameStop with me while she does some shopping at Stop'N'Shop. There was a bit of a line at GameStop, as usual, and when we got to the counter, the clerk told us that she can only give us store credit now that the adapter case was opened, even though I only cut around the side instead of through the middle. I agreed to it, but the process was giving me a hard time, and he obtained permission to give me cash instead.

At the library, I picked up four Anime Nsider magazines, looked through each of them, and checked them out.

Speaking of anime, I think another reason that I haven't started watching Divergence Eve or Otaku no Video is because those two have been the only ones I've had, haven't watched yet, and been letting myself choose from. I still have half of Excel Saga left to watch, but I'm not really interested in watching any further episodes of that series than I already did watch. I wonder if, maybe I had more of a choice, I would actually watch something. Other anime that I'm familiar with include Mahou Sensei Negima, Mahoromatic, Grenadier, Azumanga Daioh, Ikki Tousen, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Better yet, I can't wait until the anime version of Sgt. Frog finally gets dubbed, especially what with Fuyuki's Hot Night already having been completed and posted on AdultFanFiction.net. According to Wikipedia, that particular title was supposed to have been released in the U.S. on February 2007, but is now scheduled for the first quarter of 2008.

Last night, Mom told me to check the progress of that Christmas gift I ordered for Grandma Barbara. Upon checking, it turns out that it was sent back to the sender as being unmailable. I showed it to Mom, and she had me write an email to the sender asking that they get the address right and resend it.

Finally, wanna know what the Capture the Flag minigame in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl reminds me of? This episode of Penny Arcade. Another interesting thing about that particular episode of the webcomic is that it resembles a recurring gag from Calvin & Hobbes (which Mom and Dad like), where some make-believe situation ensues, and then in the last panel, the strip shows you what's really going on. I showed it to Mom and Dad while it was still on mind. Good humor, ain't it?
