dmxratedYesterday, I made some sketches of a Momoka pic, but even if I wasn't playing any game, I could hardly keep myself motivated to keep at it because of the difficulty of getting details (such as the curve of her back) to look right.
While I was playing Pokemon Pearl yesterday, I went into the Underground, and it turns out that you can only have a limited number of traps in your inventory, and you can only plant so many traps at a time. Now that I have a secret base, it's time to start decorating it next time I decide to head underground. My spheres seem to also be disappearing as time goes on (much like berries when you leave them alone for a while), but of course, they're not really necessary for buying traps anyway when you can collect the ones scattered randomly throughout the mines... unless you're looking for any traps in particular (and I prefer not knowing what I'll get). But even when my spheres seem to disappear, am I cheating by getting more items and money than I'd be expected to have just by playing the main game? No. I use this mainly as a timekiller (when I'm not doing anything in real life), and it's also the only place to find things like fossils, Heart Scales, or evolutionary stones.
Finally, I checked Pokemon FireRed, and it was completely devoid of any previous data (as was Pokemon Ruby when I checked it). Good. That means that, for the first time, not only will I be able to have more than one starter, but I'll have all three, from Ruby and FireRed each, for free, and they'll be all brand new, which will save me the need to steal any from Brendan or Ellen (from Sapphire and LeafGreen respectively). Also, maybe when I'm done with Pearl, I'll go back and play Silver, Ruby, FireRed, Emerald, and then finally get a copy of Diamond. (Blue, Yellow, and Gold will be skipped, because in the first two you're only gonna play as Ash, which I already played in Red, and Jamie's already gonna have his chance in Silver. Crystal was the first time you could choose your gender, and came out after Gold and Silver.
