dmxratedComing off from last entry (where I spoke of Getter Love!! and my life in 7th Grade), it occurred to me that I might create a domestic bonus scene in part one of Monster Collection Chronicles, which would be as follows:
While having a break from fighting in Mon World, some of the Supporting Knights decide to hold some kind of party at home, and invite Mondo and Rockna among others over. Whoever came up with the idea happens to own a Nintendo 64*, and since Mondo at this time also owns one, he decides to bring his Japan-only games to share with everyone else. He tries to insert his Getter Love!! cartridge into the system... only to find that it doesn't fit. Rockna then tells him that the Nintendo 64 Passport Plus is required to play games on foreign consoles, and just when the boys are about to try some other games, she then hands Mondo the hardware in question, saying that she had it all along and thought it might be a nice little joke to play on them.
*Brian and I weren't the only ones to (co-)own an N64. I also remember that James, Daniel, and Vincent (renamed Jamison, John, and Vince respectively in the ficseries) also used to own one each. There were also others that I never knew anything about, let alone what consoles they had. Matthew, however, is not a possibility because he only owned a Playstation back then.
Okay, what's this got to do with the plot of the fic? Nothing. That's why it's called a bonus scene. Lighthearted scenes like these could also be made to provide some comic relief during the mostly dark story. For best use, these would come at the end of a given chapter, and the explanations would come at the beginning of the following chapter.
