dmxratedMom was sick yesterday, but she drove me to work anyway. From what I understand, she also had to stop at the bank and drive Marie to the train station. Marie, apparently, has been sleeping over at Scott's house, but wherever she is, she still has yet to come home.
Also, I remember when the following event took place (February 1, 1999), but there's still an important part of it that I don't remember.
Once, I turned on MTV in hopes of watching Beavis & Butthead or Celebrity Deathmatch. What I did see was some music video where someone said something about chasing a teacher with a stapler and telling her to change a grade. I turned it off before Dad came inside from work, and then I made a similar joke. I'm not sure what led me to do so, but he jokingly asked me which grade I would ask. I don't remember which grade I was referring to, but it was either a C or a D in one class on the 2nd quarter report card.
Little did I know that what I saw was Eminem, who would years later become one of my favorite rappers to listen to. The song in question is called My Name Is.
