Jun. 22nd, 2008 07:06 amMom agreed yesterday to take me to Target today to buy some Playstation 2 controllers, especially since she's gonna be home all week.
For the most part, that Dual Force controller by MadCatz is okay for playing Dark Cloud 2, except for when I'm trying to aim the ball in Spheda. The control stick on that controller tends to move slightly off center, and it causes the aiming line to drift in any which direction whenever I try to aim it. I even had a 9-shot session with Spheda, and I lost that one partially due to this problem, although I have overshot several times as well, causing the ball to fall off ledges.
At first, I was going to send my regular controller to get repaired by Sony. However, it turns out that getting it repaired costs $60, and it's cheaper and less troublesome just to buy--two--new ones at any store that sells them.
