dmxratedOkay, there's been a mistake with yesterday's entry. Dad did work two days ago, but he did eat dinner with us. Grandpa Bob, however, never came to our house because he was working and lives in New Jersey.
Before we went to Marie's graduation ceremony yesterday, I played Pokemon Pearl briefly, mainly to return to a tree I slathered with Honey (which so happens to be just a short distance away from the PAL Park). On my way there, I encountered some Tentacool, some of which my Clefable fought using mostly Metronome (which uses a random in-game move). Clefable knocked out one Tentacool using Roar of Time, which is probably the only time in this game that that move will ever be used since Dialga can only be obtained in Pearl through trading with other players.
Even though I brought my Nintendo DS w/ Ontamarama with me, I never did take it out during the ceremony. However, along the way, Mom noticed that Adam was getting ansy, and she asked me to let him play the game. He played a few rounds before giving it back to me, and I told him that next time, I might show him whatever he didn't learn in the game.
Mom and Dad left the ceremony shortly before it ended, so that they could drive to the WoodenBoat show. They'll be home on Monday.
When we were home, I found an Ebay auction for a copy of Pokemon FireRed, coming from New Jersey and ending just one hour since I had found it. Looking at the picture reveals the foil-like sticker (as opposed to a paper sticker) and even an imprinted number, both indicating that I found a genuine copy this time. I bid on it, and ended up paying only $15.50 total.
After the auction ended, I went out with Uncle Robby to go fishing. It was very foggy out on the water, and we never caught any fish. However, he did show me what a killie trap was, and how to use it, but nothing got caught inside it by the time we retrieved it.
By the time we got home, Aunt Janie had come to visit us. Not much to say about that.
Before I went to bed, Adam wanted to play chess with Robby, but he was too busy talking with Grandma Ella and Aunt Janie. I played two games with him instead.
