dmxratedAfter a two-day break from the game, I did everything there is left to do in Pokemon Pearl yesterday. I got four straight wins in the Battle Tower... which is more BT wins than I would have hoped to achieve back in Crystal. I didn't bother to take on the ones in Sapphire or LeafGreen before, but at least here, you're not practically required to teach TMs to your Pokemon. It was kinda easy, but only because I thought out really carefully which Pokemon I would bring into the fray.
Quite by coincidence, right when I returned A Little Snow Fairy Sugar volumes 1, 5, and 6 last Tuesday, Netflix was having problems which were resolved just last Friday. Yesterday, I received volume 1 of Galaxy Angel, but I also ordered the special disk of Sugar, along with re-ordering volume 4. I'd expect to receive those two tomorrow. (Meanwhile, I've already watched three episodes of GA just last night, and at that rate, I might actually finish it today.)
Last night, Mom and Dad went out sailing, but I decided to stay home. They expected only to be out there for an hour, but they got stuck on a sandbar for two hours. That's why we ended up eating dinner at 9:00 last night.
Brian came home, and he brought over this girl named Frances to sleep over. Even though she is white, she says she's from South Africa, and even has an accent. After talking with her for a bit, it turns out that even though decolonization in Africa has long since been complete, there still are white minorities living there. In fact, white people still governed countries in Africa for a while after decolonization.
