Nxnxnxnxnxnxnxnxnx-psssssssssshhhhhhhhhh!
Sep. 1st, 2008 05:54 pmI'm been so bored that my brain feels stiff, and I feel like the only thing that will make me feel better is if I have a good night's sleep... except that I had at least one nap today it's only 6:00 P.M.
Like I said before, though, I'm putting Pokemon FireRed aside for a while, and I don't think I'm gonna put any thought into the (currently untitled) Pokemon ficseries either.
Having nothing I want to play all day, though, sure is one hell of a bore, but it sure helps when I can barely bring myself to write one entry a day into Chronicles of 7th Grade. I'm glad at least I only have two weeks of stuff left to write to that.
Martin emailed me back the other day, and said that he has a new screenname for AIM. So far, though, I still have not been able to speak to him yet, and I'm guessing that whatever he has on mind, he's saving to discuss with me through AIM rather than through email.
Most important of all things, though, Jake sent me an email this morning, asking what the Ultimate Girls fanfic would be like. I described it, but there was one idea that I considered, but on second though, deemed "too futuristic" for a present-day anime such as UG. On third thought, though, maybe it wouldn't be such a big deal for an original character to invent something that would at some point prove vital. Such a thing has been done in other present-day fandoms, and Ghostbusters (which was released in 1984) is one of the most notable examples.
(I did tell Jake that I would describe it to him personally if he wanted me to, but Jake hasn't responded all day, and I'd just like to get it over with already.) Well, here goes:
To start off, make sure you've read the lj-cut from two entries ago. That establishes Silk being absorbed into the monster's core, UFO-Man being quarantined by a force field and Vivienne being controlled by the monster.
I did mention some stuff after the lj-cut, about mind-control and body control as well, but Jake did tell me in the aforementioned email that mind-control doesn't mean one enjoys what he or she is doing.
Now here's where I'm going: Tsubomi is the only girl who is still free, and she and Makoto need to find a way to cut off the monster's power source (i.e. Silk's embarrassment). To have UFO-Man bring Silk to reality isn't going to work, and besides, to help Silk overcome shyness would be the last thing UFO-Man would want to do. If she's no longer self-conscious about being naked in public, she can no longer build up M.O.E.
So, now what? Well, Tsubomi and Makoto actually know someone who invents things. What they need, is a device that will enable Tsubomi and Silk to switch places. Once finished, this device will require a sample of Silk's DNA in order for Tsubomi to switch places with her.
After Tsubomi appears in the monster's core in Silk's place, the monster won't be deriving any more M.O.E., because Tsubomi is the one who doesn't mind being publicly naked. This, in turn, will free UFO-Man and enable Vivienne to use all the embarrassment that's been building up against the monster, but not before saving Tsubomi first. (Thankfully, this will be easier than the time when Silk had to save Makoto in anime-episode 12.)
Come to think of it, this inventor character may as well be Vivienne's new love interest, after she lost any hope of winning Silk's heart at the end of the series. Therefore, said OC (whom we'll name Yui) will be female. Therefore, assuming that it will be a twelve-chapter fanfic instead of a one-shot, a certain amount of focus will be placed on Vivienne trying to win Yui's heart, while we will also get to see Silk and Makoto do stuff together.
Well, glad to have that off my chest now. Other than that, school begins tomorrow, but I'll try to continue with Chronicles of 7th Grade, even as I begin to get bogged down with unending homework assignments.
