I've had a cold since three nights ago. At first, Mom thought it had been because of the fireplace sucking all the moisture from the house, and she went to get a new filter for the humidifier the next day. That didn't change much, and I spent the next night sleeping on the living room couch, keeping an eye on the fire and stoking it. The heat from the fireplace actually cleared my sinuses way up. I've also had a sore throat, which I treated by gargling on saltwater, and first thing yesterday morning, my body ached just from walking across the house, though that didn't last long. Dad told Grandma Barbara when she called yesterday morning, and judging from the fact that I usually have this around Columbus Day, she suggested that I might be allergic to ragweed. I'm feeling better today, albeit still sick, but I already canceled today's bus appointments yesterday. I still have a cold and a cough, but I did sleep much better last night, and I'm perfectly able to walk around.
