First of all, I've been playing Digimon World 3 yesterday morning, and I'm having trouble getting the Red Snapper. The walkthrough simply says to climb down the ladder in Divermon's Lake and talk to one of the Divermon, but I don't know how to either speak from a distance or jump into the water. Have any idea how annoying it is when, combined with that, you're constantly challenged by wild Crabmon and Betamon? I already sent an email to two walkthrough authors requesting said advice, and in the meantime, continued with Pokemon.
Last night, I went to some get-together party set up by CENY. Since CENY dedicates itself to autistic children, most attendants there were male, and any girls that were there were employees of the organization. The music was played by a Spongebob Squarepants radio, but that didn't bother me. The first song played was Bon Jovi's Shot Through the Heart. If I ever heard it before, it was probably on Beavis and Butthead, but in any case, I was so turned on that I danced more wildly than everyone else. However, I didn't dance at all for the rest of the party (except for the Mocarina), although the few girls there did ask me to.
Some did comment on my dance moves (jumping up and down and waving my arms around). One girl, Tracy, also noticed how straight my teeth were while I chatted with her, and asked me if I ever had braces (which I did). I also introduced myself to a few of the boys there, and exchanged phone numbers with them via slips which another girl, Jamie, had handed out. I even asked one boy, Joe, if he plays video games, and told him about my recent Ebay purchase. He asked me if I have an X-Box, and I told him I once did borrow one from an old friend of mine, but as of right now, I'm not even considering buying one (especially since I already have an SNES, and N64, and a Playstation 2).
During the course of the party, any songs that were played were played either normally or via karaoke. I volunteered to do a karaoke performance, and asked Tracy if there was a song list. She gave me a booklet that contained the lyrics to each available song, which was exactly what everyone else was using. I chose Mambo #5 (aforementioned on 10/3; come to think of it, here's a good name for said parody: Mondo #5). After the song was over, everyone had yet another thing to comment on.
Towards the end of the party, after I called Mom to pick me up, Lauren offered me one of two balloons, one black and the other orange. I chose the black one, and chatted with her for a bit. By coincidence, that's when I saw Mom's car coming in. On the way home, I told Mom all about my night at the party.
