Nov. 4th, 2005 06:51 amAfter school yesterday, Mom had to go grocery shopping and then drive me to Dr. Perret's. I told Dr. Perret about that Halloween party and my game, as well as last Saturday when I had to stay home from work. I also showed him one of my manga drawing books, to ask him how people think up the hair designs that they draw on characters. I told him that if I were to draw characters based on real people, I'd just stick with how they looked in reality. And finally, I told him about what I learned in Western Civilization, pertaining to the Gospel and Saint Matthew. I am an athiest, but speaking to him about what St. Matthew taught did help me overcome my contempt of God, right after I thought I was already getting over it only hours previously.
After my session was over, Mom had to go pick up Marie, so I suggested she drop me off at Borders. While I was there, I read:
-Chapters 3 and 4 of Nana: Seven of Seven. (I already read the first two chapters last year.)
-The first few pages of Sgt. Keroro, volume 2.
-Sokora Refugees, chapters 1 and 2.
When I got home, I noticed Brian was watching Beavis and Butthead. What I also noticed was that it was being aired on Comedy Central instead of MTV2. I looked it up in the TV guide, and apparently, it's on at 7:00 on weeknights.
