Wanna know what sucks?

The Heaven Blade, that's what. I got one from the Forest Protectors when I was playing Grandia III two nights ago. It's weaker than the Mithril Sword (which I bought prior), has no special properties other than "brings good luck", and only sells for 1 gold. I might as well have gotten a pile of gold coins instead. If anything else sucks, it's that the Melc Crystals is a lot harder than any of the Grandia II bosses or even the Lavos Core from Chrono Trigger. I spent all afternoon yesterday trying to kick his ass, without even getting close until I equipped Alfina, Ulf, and Dahna with the Prayer skill, and Alfina again with the Galactic Bang spell. Only that particular spell does any serious damage to a given enemy, and you have to use it seven times on each crystal to win.
