In the Netherlands, birds always migrate on April 25th to lay their eggs. In the past, these eggs hatched on June 3rd, which used to be the exact date that caterpillars were most abundant. By hatching their chicks on the same day that caterpillars reach their peak season, the chicks don't have to wait a single day to receive their food.

Nowadays, the caterpillars are most abundant on May 15th, and the birds hatch their eggs on May 25th. This means by the time the chicks hatch, their parents have barely any caterpillars left to feed them with. This is just one of the many dangerous effects of excessive global warming. Would you simply accept what's happening to these cute little birds? If yes, then you're an idiot. If no, then get off your ass, pick this book up, and start reading it! Now!!!
