I remember early this semester, Mr. Caulfield (my Writing teacher) told us that every story needs to have a conflict in order to be interesting. Otherwise, it would sound like "I got up in the morning, and then I ate breakfast, and then I walked my dog, and then I brushed my teeth, etc." Half an hour yesterday before that class started, though, I showed him my 12/19/2003 entry from Senior Year (a prequel to this blog), since he might've been interested. (Note: There was stuff in that document that was left out, but I can still remember somewhat, if not clearly. Before anyone asks for the whole thing, I'd like some time to insert what I feel is missing, especially what with winter vacation coming up.)

When I went to work, everyone was having a Christmas party at the office. I got a bag containing a mug full of candy, along with two plastic candy cane-shaped containers with candy. There was plenty of food being served, but all I had was some chocolates. When I got home, I decided to let Marie have my M&Ms and Hershey Kisses, since I don't really care for those all that much.

Also, Cathy Haack (my supervisor) has already started working on my letter of recommendation yesterday. However, I won't be working at the Annex office during the Winter Semester. Whether I'll keep my job in the spring will depend on whether she and Martha can hire a new supervisor, since they'll both be retiring.

Finally, Dad got the roof finished yesterday. Now all that's left is for me to pick up the rest of the shingle scraps and put them in the dumpster.
