Jan. 16th, 2007 08:27 amWhile Mom and Dad were both away, Marie had Joe over yesterday, and told me not to tell either of them.
While he was over, the two of them were flipping through the channels while I was having lunch, and they came across some movie on the Disney Channel called The Rescuers, although Marie didn't know what it was yet. She asked me what it was, and I told her. She then looked it up in the TV guide while Joe looked on Channel 14, and my answer was correct. It also turned out to have come out in 1977, which surprised them even though the animation is rather old. We only watched a few minutes of the movie before Marie and Joe got something to eat.
Before I went to bed, Mom asked me if Marie had Joe over, and I told her that Marie told me not to tell her. Mom told me that she didn't mind if any of Marie's friends came over so much, but that she tried to keep it a secret. She had a talk with Marie about it when Dad brought her home from work.
