Yesterday's post contains a mistake. Scott wasn't the one who slept over two nights ago; Blaine did, although Marie did spend most of yesterday at Scott's house.

I spent most of yesterday morning playing Pokemon Sapphire, trying to win Master Rank contests. I entered Wingull into the Cool Contest, and Spinda and Marill into the Cute Contest, but could only win with Marill. That's what happens when you try to enter Pokemon with only one move of the corresponding attribute...and to think that I fed Wingull and Spinda all those PokeBlocks just to make room for more, only to find that all my planted berries are gone. Gee, what luck I've had these past several days.

Brian and Blaine, meanwhile, were watching The Matrix. I joined them...during one of the worst moments possible (when someone's body gets punctured), and I had to leave. I did rejoin during the last five or ten minutes of the movie, though, and enjoyed that.

While I took out the garbage yesterday, Mom asked me to bring the old battery backup out as well. First, though, I found something to do with it, and brought Mom, Brian, and Blaine out to watch. I picked up that piece of junk by the plug, and swung it around in circles while spinning around with it. Brian also gave it a try, but both of us were only able to lift it two feet off the ground and throw it roughly ten feet far. Mom and Blaine didn't really care to try, though.

Half an hour later, we went on our first boat ride of the summer, and Blaine came with us. While we were on the water, I told Dad about what I did in the backyard.

We didn't spend a whole lot of time at the boatyard. Dad remained there while Mom drove us around town. We visited a few antique shops, one of where we dropped off an old baby carriage we've had for fifteen years. Then, we went to Borders. This month's issue of Sonic X wasn't very interesting, and the store we went to is still carrying the same issues of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sabrina the Teenage Witch as last month. However, I also found a magazine about retro gaming, but I only skimmed through it. I also read the first few pages of Grenadier, before we had to leave.

Blaine had to get dropped off at the train station on our way home.

After we ate dinner, Dad came out to the backsteps with Mom and Brian to watch me swing the battery backup again. He gave it a try as well and was naturally able to get it twice as high and far as I possibly could. I gave it one more try before putting it back in one of the trash cans for the last time.

Last night concluded with Brian staying up to watch this movie called Young Frankenstein, a movie I remember watching in my College Preparation class in 12th grade. I watched further into the movie than I did in the aforementioned class, but still went to bed long before the movie ended.
