Those little kids came back outside right after I posted yesterday's mid-day post. I had fun pushing them on the swing while they took turns. Also, upon coming back outside, I overheard one of the kids ask "How old is he?" I told them my age, and someone said that Rich is also 21.

One of their names was Angela, and she apparently was the youngest of all the kids. She was shorter than the rest of them, and I learned that she was four years of age.

Another one of the little kids was named Anthony. He was apparently the oldest child (not counting any teenagers who had also visited), and told me he was ten.

While I was away from the kids briefly, I also spotted Justin and Melanie on my driveway. They were sitting down and talking to each other, facing each other. I asked them what school they go to, and they said they both go to William Floyd High School. I told them that I just graduated from Suffolk County Community College and will be going to Dowling University starting this upcoming September. Justin is hoping to get accepted into SCCC, and I wished him luck. He and Melanie asked me what job I'm hoping to get, and I told them I'm hoping to be a legal assistant. By coincidence, Melanie is also hoping to become one.

I sure enjoyed socializing with all those people in my backyard a lot more than I would enjoy trying to join any conversation in a cafeteria. People at school talk to each other every single day, but it's not often that so many people come to visit us or Phyllis. This also reminds me of gatherings that we used have when me, Brian, and Marie were little; such as visiting Steven Nader in Mastic; going down to Shawnee to visit either Mom's or Dad's side of our extended family; or the number of times when we got together with the Ploth family either at their house , them visiting us, or that time when we brought one of their sons Joel down to Virginia to visit Grandma Barbara, Aunt Marie, Uncle Ray, and Cousin David.
