The other day in Zits, Jeremy used his cell phone to ring his own house, and when his mother picked it up, he asked her to bring him some chips and salsa while she was in the kitchen.

Yesterday morning, I placed the phone by Marie's head while she was sleeping, and then used my cell phone to call her and tell her to wake up. Dad picked it up instead, and I told him to wake Marie up. Then, I watched the Angry Nintendo Nerd's new video for Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout, but half-suppressed my urge to laugh during the first half of the video. Marie called me, and told me to quiet down, and instead, I let myself laugh whole-heartedly. (Dad thinks that I sound like a lunatic when I laugh the way I laugh.) After it ended, we continued having fun with the phone, and Dad called Mom up at work to tell her about it. Pretty soon, Marie called me again to wake Brian up, and instead, I shouted "WAAAAAKKKKKKEEEEE UUUUUUPPPPPPPP!!!!!!" into the phone. Dad's like "How many times do we have to go through this?"

(On a side note, I do shout those two words sometimes into Marie's room if she's the last one still in bed. I think it's hilarious, but Mom and Dad don't approve of it.)

For the first time ever, I spent a number of hours yesterday in Mom and Dad's room to play Pokemon LeafGreen. I had to make their bed, block out the window with two pillows to reduce the glare on the screen, and bring in one of the tall lamps so that I could hold the Game Boy Advance comfortably. In the meantime, Marie and Grandma were watching stuff on TVLand, which included episodes of Leave It To Beaver.

Marie showed this African tour video to me, Brian, and Dad, which featured water buffalo, lions, and a crocodile fighting over a baby buffalo. Click the link to watch it.

Last night, we all went out for Turkish food. There isn't much to comment on for the actual meal, but shortly before we left, I decided to go outside to move around. Scott arrived in the parking lot because Marie just couldn't stop text-messaging him while he was coming home from Turkey. I led him to the table where my family was, and then went back outside. When we were leaving, Marie decided to go with Scott to the pet store, and Grandma chose to chaperone them. Dad took me, Mom, and Brian to the boatyard (which is in the same town as the Pita House) and checked the catboat, before we went home.

When we did get home, there were a bunch of cars in our driveway, which apparently, belonged to guests of Phyllis's. One of them was parked on the grass in the sideyard, and Mom suggested that Dad ask whoever it belonged to to move it somewhere.

Last night, Mom and Grandma were watching some movie on My9 called Whale Rider. They didn't see the whole movie, and I only saw the end. Meanwhile, Brian went out somewhere with his friends, and was told to be home by 11:30. However, he never did come home, and he's still not home even at the time this entry was written.

Kasune (a.k.a. Jason Dragis, the author of Sonic: Dark Future) has responded to my emails, and he said that he needs more than just pics in order to include Tiara in his work. He requested an assessment of her personality, and I gave him exactly that. I just hope it's enough of an assessment.
