Mar. 18th, 2008 06:03 amSomeone came to deliver some wood yesterday morning, right when I was in the middle of the last paragraph of yesterday's entry. Me and Brian had to move the plywood into the greenhouse before I could get back to writing.
I watched the first episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion yesterday.
Last night after dinner, I spoke to Mom about the last paragraph of yesterday's entry, and then told her that it would make a good point to bring up with Dr. Perret. Mom told me that I'm seeing him next week on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Picking up from yesterday's entry, am I going to make a job out of watching anime? No. When I used to buy manga, I usually did so whenever I had any particular reason to do so, such as if we were going on any long car trips. Also, I've recently been borrowing Anime Nsider magazines from our library, but I should pay as much attention to the actual content as I do to the inserted-dialogue gags.
Brian finally connected his external hard drive to our own hard drive, and our files are being backed up as we speak. However, it's still a better idea to wait until I'm away from home before I download Mednafen (a free PC-FX emulator that can read .bin and .cue files directly) and a torrent containing all PC-FX games and necessary files. Mostly what I want to do is to make sure I can play Makeruna Makendou Z, so that for when I finish my translation patch, I can post the instructions on how to run it onto this blog for anyone who's interested. Actually playing the game might wait until I'm done with Chronicles of 7th Grade.
As for Daemon Tools, Mom, Brian, and I had an agreement that once all our files are backed up, me and Brian will install it together so that I have some idea of how to do so safely and solve any problems that might come with DT. Even though I might not actually use it to play the game (assuming I'm able to run it on Mednafen), it would still be a good thing to have in case there's *any* reason to use it.
