Jun. 26th, 2008 06:41 amI spent most of yesterday playing Pokemon Pearl, and I'm right in the middle of the Elite Four right now. That means I've got more than enough time to view Dialga's page after beating Cynthia, which is what needs to be done in order to get the National Dex. After that gets done, I should also take the time to sort out which Pokemon will be transferred from Ruby, Emerald, and FireRed to Pearl's PAL Park. Some of these will be obtained legitimately, but for the ones that can't be so, I'm gonna have to use the GameShark to create either the Pokemon species themselves or the respective items required to access them.
(I should also note that, although I don't plan on playing Blue, Yellow, Gold, or Silver after clearing Pearl, I do intend to backtrack to play Ruby, FireRed, Emerald, and eventually Diamond. I will use GameShark codes to create the items required for accessing any Pokemon that can normally be obtained only in Nintendo-sponsored events, which will be the reward for having completed Sapphire, LeafGreen, and Pearl. I won't use codes to create any Pokemon directly, though.)

Last night, Scott came over, and we all went out to this steakhouse called The Good Steer. On the way there, Mom suddenly remembered that she forgot to turn off the sprinkler in her garden, and by coincidence, she mentioned it right while we stopped behind a SprinklerKing van. She actually confused the terms "coincidence" with "irony", which is a mistake that the Angry Video Game Nerd made in his Virtual Boy review (see his Water World mini-review towards the end of the video).
Anyway, while we were there, I ordered a burger with Mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and sauteed onions. Actually, it wasn't really that good, but I guess it was because of those onions. I did eat it all up, but a short while later, we all got dessert. I got a vanilla hot fudge sundae, but not much else happened before we left.
