Mom took down the Christmas tree yesterday, Scott came over, I received Whacked!, and Mom later drove Brian to the train station to meet his friends in New York City. I also got a shiny Oddish while playing Pokemon Ruby.

Later on, Marie and Scott went to see this movie called Slum-Dog Millionaires. Meanwhile, I tried hooking up the Xbox on my bedroom TV, but with... some luck. Well, I can get it to work on my TV, but it's got heavy static, and the video quality is subpar. Hooking it up on the living room TV (without either RF unit) shows perfect video and audio quality.

...

What the fuck!?! Yeah, this happened five years ago, when I borrowed Matthew's Xbox and had to play it on our main TV for a whole week, but this just doesn't make any sense. I mean, it makes sense enough that my TV can only read radio frequency, which is why I had to hook up the PC-FX up in the living room, but I have an RF cord that can hook up to any console by Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft, and using that cord, the TV displays perfect quality from the Playstation 2 or any of my Nintendo consoles, so what's so different about the Xbox? Obviously, it can't be the Xbox itself if it works perfectly in the living room.

Whatever is going on, I'll never understand. But, when I eventually get my own house, I might have (or eventually buy) a more up-to-date TV which won't require radio frequency, and might get rid of the one I have in my room.
