Jan. 11th, 2009 06:12 amAs of yesterday, I've put My Sims, The Sims 2, and Queen of Queens up on Ebay. Marie already has given me permission to sell the two Sims games in question. Also, if I can sell Queen of Queens for the amount that I'm hoping to get off of it, I might just buy some more import games in a lot, each to sell separately for the price I buy them for. (Originally, I would've started an online store, but running a basic one costs $15 per month. I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep up with that.)
I also arranged for Mom to donate Mario Paint, Champions World Class Soccer, NCAA Football, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, and Bomberman Hero to charity. Originally, I was gonna pawn them off on a site called GamePawn, but I can only make $3 off of them, minus $.50 for missing manuals. Someone tell me, why do people try to sell old games for minimal profit all year round on Ebay, when reposting the auctions costs a tiny fee each time? They only lose money off of it, and if they're that desperate to get rid of the games, they should just give them to the poor. Or better yet, pawn them off at a flea market (which is where the Angry Video Game Nerd claimed to get his Sega 32X for just $2.50). In fact, Uncle Robby once told me that Adam once tried to pawn his Super NES off somewhere, but was advised against it.
Brian had a doctor's appointment yesterday. Not much to say there, but I did have Mom drop off Hare + Guu volume 2 in our mailbox (which I've been meaning to do) as she and Brian left. I later ordered volume 1 of Azumanga Daioh from Netflix.
Brian took the train to New Jersey last night to visit a friend of his. During a cell phone conversation he had with Mom, I overheard that someone committed suicide on the tracks, and the train was delayed for two hours as a result.
Now for some shit about Makeruna! Makendou Z:
