Mom got Brian's bed made last night, so now I'm able to write blog entries during the time period I normally write them.

Last night, Marie was talking to Scott on iChat. I came over to her, Marie told me to say hi to her, and I swiftly brought my head in front of the screen and screamed "ASS!" (Something I got from the beginning of the Angry Video Game Nerd's Nintendo Power review.

Now, about the title of this entry... Well, normally, I don't talk about what I watch or listen to on YouTube. Right now, though, I've got a lot to say about that for the past couple of days.

First thing from two days ago, I've been watching gameplay videos of We Cheer. Right now, my favorite one is the one for Come N' Ride It.

Having watched the girls dance to such pumped-up songs as that one, Eye of the Tiger, Star, and In This Diary, reminds me of several songs of a similar nature. Namely, Come On Over, Baby by Christina Aguilera, and the techno remix of Who Let the Dogs Out by the Baha Men. Both of these songs were played on Fresh 5 (radio show) when I started 9th grade (September 2000), and the latter held #1 for weeks. (It would be awesome to see those two songs in We Cheer. In fact, just listening to them makes me want to dance similar to the girls in that game.)

But, while typing in "Come on over baby", I also found these AMVs for Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, one of which was actually called "Come On Over Mermaids". I decided to give them a view, and here are the links, if you're interested:

Needless to say, these videos have inspired me to watch an episode of MMPPP. I did look for it on Netflix, but the site doesn't have it, even though Wikipedia did say that that anime had been released in the states. So, if it's not available at Netflix, the next best option is YouTube. And, we have a fandub!

Said AMVs also make me want to make my own AMV for Come On Over Baby!, with footage from multiple anime series and even some anime-style games. Of course, that's out of the question since I don't even know yet how to copy default DVD content onto a computer.
