Today is my last day at school for the semester, so starting tomorrow, I will begin copying entries from Chronicles of 7th Grade onto this blog. I do believe that the time is ripe to play the line of games that I played back in 7th grade, partly because having played Panel de Pon (the Japanese equivalent of Tetris Attack) has brought back memories of when I was playing TA back in 7th. Also, even though I was originally planning on completing my translation of Makeruna! Makendou Z first, having skipped to several scenes in particular in that game and being able to get the gist of them means that I've probably studied the Japanese language enough to play Getter Love!! when the time comes.

I know I said before that I was gonna attempt to submit it for publication. Okay, maybe I am gonna be cheating myself of potential royalties by doing this, but then again, I understand that the vast majority of books never do get published to begin with. Right now, I just want to be able to share this with my friends and family, as well as anyone else who might currently be reading this blog. Also, I understand that, when you write a work of non-fiction, the law requires you to change names of people, unless either they're dead or they give you permission to use their real names. Finally, with a physical book, you can't simply turn in-text words into hyperlinks; you have to write the links out to any websites that might be relevant to anything. YouTube videos that contain copyrighted material are especially problematic, as they do not exist legally and are bound to be removed at a moment's notice.

So far, I've already sent both a PM and an email to Adalia Glenys, even though I haven't spoken with her in years. Even though she's not likely to actually read it, I do hope that she will just in time for the ride. I already told Grandma Barbara about my plans when she called last Sunday, and told her to tell Aunt Marie. I do intend to tip Martin off next time he's on AIM, and I will phone up Libby and Matthew to see if they're interested. Meanwhile, I do hope that Mom, Brian, Marie, Jake, and Chelle will also enjoy reading what I originally wrote onto Microsoft Word.

(Unrelated, Jake has requested last night that I make a transliteration of this game called Super Robot Taisen K. I told him that I would download the game and a Nintendo DS emulator while I'm at school, and will work on it over the summer. He did say that the first mission will be enough for now, and I will put it onto my to-do list for the summer.)
