Jun. 20th, 2009 06:12 amWell, I took my ride up to Dowling, and did what I needed to do. After trying out a bunch of different programs that would open up YouTube but wouldn't let me log in (and I should note that the video in question was privately shared), I tried my luck again with TubeHunter Ultra. I tried to buy a license key again, and this time, it wasn't blocked by PayPal, and indeed, the whole thing worked.
With that done, I then managed to download some ROMs and emulators. I did successfully download the ROMs and respective emulators for all the games listed two entries ago, except for the following:
Game Tengoku: Yes, a link does exist that leads to this title. However, the page that's supposed to have it is temporarily down. Here's where I found the link:

As you can see, the shot of the cover art very much proves that this is the Saturn version, and not the arcade version. In any case, though, the fact that I was unable to download this one saved me the trouble of downloading a Saturn emulator and the BIOS, and since this is supposedly temporary, I might try my luck with this again next fall.
Hotel Mario: Found the ISO. Check. Found a CD-i emulator. Check. The BIOS? Costed some money, and I'm already spending enough of that as it is, especially with such a tight budget. C'mon, it didn't cost anything to download the BIOS files for the Sega CD or 32X, so why should I have to pay for this shit?
Jason Storm in Space Chase 3: Well, here was the page where you could potentially download it. But wait, that's not enough. First, you need to create an account there. Okay, no problem. Then, you have to visit some page for a $500 Walmart Gift Card. Uh, no. If downloading something involves falling for potential scams, then I'm out.
In any case, good enough. Although, I wouldn't be surprised to run into problems when trying to play certain games, since I'm not familiar with some of these emulators.
