Back to the present.
Yesterday, I went with Brian and Amy to the beach. They had also asked Marie if she wanted to go, but she declined.
Before we actually headed for the beach, Brian drove us to a 7-11 store in the opposite direction, and we got slurpees. Brian told us about this slurpee flavor called "Liquid Artillery", which is supposed to be a combination of strawberry and pineapple, but is actually blue. Unlike last year, though, the only extra thing I got (and Brian was the one who paid for everything) was a tiny, dome-shaped piece of chocolate.
While we were in the car, Amy told us that she has (or had) a communcations class at Suffolk County Community College, just like the one I had several years ago. Some girl in said class was giving a lecture on how to be a Playboy playmate, and she stripped down to a bikini while giving it.
As for our stay at the beach, the waves were just as rough as last time. The three of us only went in for a dip, before going back to lay down on a beach blanket. I was sitting on my knees, and buried my legs in sand, and when I got up, I happened to leave a heart-shaped print in the sand.
On the way home, me and Brian talked about this and that. He asked me how far I am in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and I told him that I've gotten up to Ganon's Castle, the last dungeon. I also told him that it's part of the 7th Grade lineup, and the last game in line (unless you count a certain game exclusive to Japan) will be announced in just several days. He asked me to tell him which game it was, and after specifying, I went into some explanations about how I used to count the total combined numbers of five dice and a penny, vs. how I use coins and dice nowadays. He also asked me how far I've gotten with Co7G, how far I plan to get, whether or not I've written anything like "Chronicles of 8th Grade" (which I haven't, since that's not exactly one of my favorite years to look back to), and how much longer Co7G will last on this blog (not much more than two weeks).
He also asked me what I usually do with Vincent. I told him that we usually go to this place called Bagels Your Way Cafe. He brings me there, mainly so that he can teach me how to act around other people. According to him, I tend not to notice when I invade other people's personal space and stuff like that. Brian told me that it is true, and that when I happened to be "staring" in the direction of some girls on the beach, one of them waved hi to me and I didn't notice. To most people, this kind of stuff occurs naturally to them, but not to me.
