Had an appointment with Dr. Perret yesterday, but could hardly think of anything to bring up beyond what's been going on recently.

After my meeting with Dr. Perret, Mom took me out to Cold Stone in return for helping her at work. I got a cup of mint ice cream with M&M's, Butterfinger bits, coconut, marshmallows, and something else. Mom couldn't stay at the place because she had some places to go. At first, I was gonna save the whole thing for when I got home, but along the way, Mom suggested that I just start eating it. As it turned out, it was already starting to melt, and I had to lick along the edges. While I was eating, I got myself two Wet Ones, but they were dry as a bone. Mom did find a pack of them behind my seat, which were still moist, and I used one of those to clean myself up before continuing.

GETTER LOVE!!

Just one round yesterday, but also some bonus material.

Well, first, I remember saying some stuff about this song called Mambo #5 four years ago. Well, imagine if Getter Love!! did make it here? I would imagine the trailer having that song to go with it, but instead of the names used in the real song (Jessica, Sandra, etc.), the lyrics would replace those names with the names of the seven main girls in the game. And of course, said trailer would also end with then-slogan "Get N or Get Out!"

Here's the actual song, by the way.

Problems? Well, Getter Love!! was released in Japan during the winter when I was in 7th Grade. That song played on Fresh Five during the following summer, which was when I started listening to that. Also, if the game did get released here, chances are, all the character's names (save for Meifa and Alfonso, who are exchange students), would've been Americanized, just like with Pokemon (and Sailor Moon before that). For example, Hana could've become "Anna", Makoto would become "Monica", Kiiro would become "Kira", Kaoru would become "Carl", etc. (if whoever dubbed it would even have looked for similar-sounding names).

Anyway, now for the actual playthrough:

Slow start for me. Chikashi got his hands on the Shrine Date card, but failed to ask Ayumi out with it. I then battled him, took the card from him, and shortly used it to take Kiiro out upon meeting her at CD&BOOK. That's as far as I got with anyone. For the rest of the round, I just wasted time delaying the inevitable: Daisuke was going to win Makoto's heart.

From now on, whenever my girl of choice tells me where she'll be, I should choose her over trying to harass one of my opponents. Trying to intercept them is not the most reliable way to deal with them, because half the time, they have dates set up where they go, after which they are returned home. If I do get any free turns, they should probably be spent shopping for items, which would be more reliable to fuck my opponents up with.

Today's song:
Shooting World
Game Tengoku (also known as The Game Paradise!)
Saturn
Jaleco
