Dec. 3rd, 2009 06:37 amFor the last term paper I'll ever have to do (assuming I pass all my classes this semester), I've been writing a report for my China class about the movie Dim Sum: A Little Bit of Heart. I'm supposed to write at least seven pages, citing two of the readings, but I've only been able to write up five pages and cite one of the readings.
Yesterday morning, all I was able to add to it was a paragraph about the wedding conversation that Mrs. Tam and Mary had at the beginning of the movie. I didn't play Dark Cloud 2 though, not because I was fretting (which I wasn't), but because I wasn't in the mood for it. The other night, I made multiple attempts to win the Spheda medal in the same level at Starlight Canyon, and every single time, the ball was redundantly far away from the friggin' hole. Even when I was allowed nine shots, I ended up shooting the ball off ledges half the time.
So, instead of playing the game, I listened to some synthetic, kick-ass video game songs on YouTube, and also paid a visit to the Anime Fanservice Image Gallery to look at screenshots from shit such as Those Who Hunt Elves, Idol Project, Idol Fighter SuChiPai, and Indian Summer.
Well, yeah... If you can't add anything more to it, what good is sitting there and meditating gonna do? Without any relevant source material left to work with, one may as well just squander what time they have before school.

Back to the project. I spoke about it with Mom, and she told me just to add another paragraph to the end, about loosening up and letting go of traditional ways. I did the best I could, I've played the system's game quite long enough, and I scored a 96 on my China midterm. Considering how not-so-well I did on my other midterms, anything near a hundred should make up for any points I forfeit on the term paper.
