Aug. 17th, 2010 07:35 amYesterday was a busy day, and Mom had to call work in sick.
Throughout yesterday, we did the following:
1) Went to Dad's workshop, picked up his van, and drove to someone's house to pick up a bookcase for him.
2) After driving back, reclaimed the car and went to get me a haircut.
3) Drove back home, had lunch, and made preparations for me to get a job interview. (Mom also got my watchface rightside-up while we were home.)
4) Drove to Stonybrook Hospital at 1:30 for said interview. Marie was with us, and she accompanied me on my way to Room 020 on the 10th floor. Sharon, the person interviewing me, said that everything will be decided at the end of next week.
5) Drove to Target, but it turned out that there was a fire drill going on. We only waited a few minutes before deciding just to leave.
6) Went to another person's house to pick up a desk for Marie.
7) Mom dropped me off at home before she and Marie went food shopping.

Last night, Mom stuffed some clams for dinner that Dad dug the previous day while sailing. She got me some microwavable meatloaf and mashed potatoes, because she thought I didn't like clams. I told her that I said I never tried them when she asked me in the car. So, I tried one out while we were eating, and it was pretty good.
