(no subject)

Mom's been soaking Mabel's foot in a cup of Epsom salt water and putting antibiotic on it more than daily, and took Mabel to the vet just yesterday. The vet didn't see anything wrong with her, but when Mom cleaned the car out, she found one of the cat's nails on the floor. She said that she must have been clawing the cat cage door, and even though she still has an abscess, she does seem more able to walk (albeit still limping part of the time). It also turns out that all of her paw pads are still in place, but she doesn't know if the nail in question will grow back like human fingernails do when they fall off.

Marie went with Mom and Dad to the boat, to watch Dad dig some more clams. I stayed home.

Brian came home late last night. Sometime today, when he's awake, I'll probably ask him to fix up my Playstation 2. Given that it's already been physically damaged, if he doesn't get around to it before leaving, I'll let him take the console with him to mod (along with Makeruna! Makendou 2, to test it if he can disable the regional lockout while he's at it).
