Jan. 10th, 2011 05:47 amHad Mom drop me off at GameStop while she went to Dad's workshop, in hopes of finding someone who'd be willing to help me out with the Deoxys mission. Before we left the house, Mom suggested I ask the clerk if there was any way I could get in touch with another Guardian Signs player.
Turns out that one of the clerks there would have been willing to do it with me using a spare DS she had stored somewhere, but only on a day when there aren't so many customers. After having then looked around at games for a bit, I called Mom to fill her in, and she suggested that I ask She told me that she works on weekends and on Wednesday nights, but those are unpredictable. Weekdays midday should be appropriate, though.
Well, that saved me the trouble of bothering anyone else in the store.
-----
When we got back home, I had a nap while Mom started taking the ornaments off the tree. I could hear some of the balls breaking, and Mom got mad at Mabel and chased her outside. Ten seconds later, Dad came in with the cat, and kept saying what a nice kitty she is, but Mom told her what had just happened. I woke up and chased her back outside.
Shortly afterwards, Mom had a nap for herself, and I took down the bead chains and the lights.
At some point after Mom woke up, she noticed Mabel hiding under the tree and poking her head out. She asked me to get the camera from the boathouse, but could only take a picture of her completely under the tree before asking Dad to bring it outside.
