Feb. 1st, 2011 05:27 amRolled a double-5 for Diamond and HeartGold, neither of which I've gotten very far in yet.
In Diamond, I taught Suicune TM 10 (Hidden Power). That's one less TM I'll be carrying around all game long, and assuming I don't transfer Deoxys onto that game and get on with it, that will leave Celebi with TMs 70 (Flash) and 76 (Stealth Rock) if I roll a double-5 for that game after downloading her.

In both games, the move forgotten was Sheer Cold. Even though all four moves that it came with aren't moves it can learn in-game, Sheer Cold is a pretty pointless move. It knocks out a Pokemon in one shot, but has a default accuracy of 30%. Furthermore, it does not work at all if the target Pokemon's level is higher than the user, and while it increases in accuracy the lower the target Pokemon's level is than the user's, it would really be more practical to just beat something to death... especially given Suicune's stats as a legendary. Not to mention that it only has 5 PP.

Used this day as a marker to contact Melissa (to see if she'd be available anytime soon to meet at Starbucks), Liam (about the Lucky Star pic), and PlottingYourDemise (about Sarah's pic). Melissa doesn't seem like she'll be able to set a time anytime soon, so I'll contact her again if I fail to take care of things with Cousin Adam or Steven. Liam has made some progress, but since he did a nice job matching the art style of the anime, I asked him to include Tsukasa in the pic. Still have yet to hear from PYD.
