Sep. 20th, 2011 06:53 amBefore she left, Mom told me yesterday morning that Grandpa was due to leave at some point, and that it was important that I carry his cooler for him when he does. However, he never even said goodbye, so I failed to even notice him having left until I saw that his car was gone.

Just a stone's throw from Pastoria City in Pokemon Diamond since midday yesterday. For the few weeks I've been playing the game already, I've been looking forward to having the move relearner teach a lot of my Pokemon (mostly obtained from the Pal Park) relearn old moves in exchange for Heart Scales. Decided to wait until the following morning to take care of it, and put away my player's guides and my dice during the middle of the day.
Unfortunately, I've missed out on a free berry that someone else gives out each day. Even with everything else I've been doing yesterday, it would've only taken a moment to go up to her and ask.
To make up for that, once I'm done exchanging Heart Scales and maybe taking on the Great Marsh, I'm gonna spend some time with Pokemon White for at least a day or two. Got business to take care of in that game anyway, because there are several events coming up for Black and White, which can only be accessed through the Global Link.

Spoke to Jake yesterday about Parasitic Trio.
During the months after I came up with the premise of the ficseries itself, Jake had this idea for how Whitney's arc could play out. ( Warning: Sexual innuendoes )
Just yesterday, I told Jake that I wasn't really sure if she should actually have billiards as one of her hobbies, being the blatant girly-girl that she is. I did at some point mention that the only conceivable reason she'd play that was if she had some boyfriend who does as well, but Jake had already asked me that she not have one during the first months of discussing the ficseries. He suggested that she might have only watched others play it, and just gets lucky.
At dinner, I asked Mom and Dad whether billiards really is mostly a guy thing. Ironically, they remember watching women play it on ESPN, something which I have seen before but had completely forgotten about up until having brought it up. Dad also pointed out that billiards is not the same game as pool, particularly given the fact that there are no pockets in the former, though we'd probably have to look up the specifics on Wikipedia.

Here is a Lucky Star sketch commission I've just had someone complete for me yesterday, of Konata and special character Yamato w/ their hair updone.
http://makykaos.deviantart.com/art/Sketch-Konata-y-Yamato-COMS-259233166
Not too long ago, the artist came up to me and asked me if I wanted commissions. He stated in his info that he only accepts money, but decided to make an exception for me after I told him that I will not pay money to anyone until I have a job. Even then, though, the point prices were still way too high, so that's why we decided that she do a two-character, no-background sketch in exchange for 200 points.
There are several other commissions I've been meaning to post on dA, which the respective artists never did host themselves, but I've still been too busy playing Pokemon Diamond. I'll be sure to link to them once they're up.
