Nov. 7th, 2011 08:20 amThought to try out Angry Birds once and for all yesterday morning, after seeing it for the nth time on the cover of that MAD Magazine I took out the other day. Mom gave me a credit card to use for it, so that I wouldn't risk having my own number stolen and be charged once a month. Let me tell you, I've been obsessed with that game, and would play it for at least a few hours at a time, even though the game is a bit slow (not sure if it's my laptop or because I'm playing the Chrome version on Firefox, which I was specifically instructed to and did upgrade).
Mom also commented that the game looks and sounds like an old-fashioned cartoon, similar to Yoshi's Island.
Took only yesterday to complete the regular game. Also managed to unlock level 5 in the Chrome Dimension quite by accident. At first, I thought that was some kind of bug or something, since it paused the game to show the rotating Google Chrome symbol for about 15 seconds and I couldn't unpause it, but it was this morning that I found out what it really was. While I was at unlocking the other levels, I thought I might as well try to improve my score on every level after the first symbol level while I was at it, but I ended up spending about four hours replaying all those levels.
