Managed yesterday to play Angry Birds Chrome at full speed and smoothness, after installing Google Chrome on my laptop. Played through the main game all over again last night.

Got up at 2:30 this morning to play through the Chrome Dimension, and then looked for the regular edition, which has more content. Well, I can tolerate the fact that some things are different, especially what with this being the first version of the game. However, it would be nice to see any cutscenes like in Chrome, but that's the least of my problems with this version. More importantly, why can't I save the game, if there are a total of four episodes in this edition? Do I need to download it first to be able to save? But worst of all is level 1-5, which is next to impossible to clear. The Chrome version of this level was much easier because the slabs supporting the middle section were made of ice (easiest to break), but they're made of wood in this version. I would normally prefer not to use a walkthrough for this game, but I'm probably gonna have to use one for That One Level

In any case, someone should probably novelize this game. Each structure could represent something, such as the pigs' watermelon supply vehicle in level 2-14. The pigs canonically don't do anything to so much as defend themselves (not to mention that they place boxes of TNT in the same structures that they reside in), so they should be given some method of fighting back in a fanfic. I also like the various objects that the pigs keep in their bases, such as bananas, watermelons, strawberries, diamonds, treasure chests, and even the king's donut. That's something I like about games in general, where there are sideline details about what gets destroyed and what remains intact (provided that destroying them is optional in the first place).
